Globecom is a major international communications conference, held annually for some 25 years, and is to be hosted in London for its first staging in Europe. Sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society and in conjunction with the IEE, Globecom '96 aims to attract 1000+ of the leading telecommunication development engineers, academics, operators and manufacturers from all parts of the world.
There will be Exhibits associated with the Conference from Monday 18 - Thursday 21 November 1996. A simple shell scheme system (standard unit size 3m x 2m) will be used which will facilitate quick and easy build-up.
Exhibition space will be made available to Publishers to exhibit alongside the major Conference Sponsors and Sister Conference organisers. The location for this is the Benjamin Britten Lounge (3rd Floor of the Centre - adjacent to four of the main Technical Session rooms - where coffee is served).
Companies wishing to demonstrate new Internet developments or associated Telecomms service opportunities and other topics related to the Conference may also have the opportunity to exhibit in conjunction with a parallel Mini Conference called the "IEEE Global Internet '96". The location for this Exhibition is the first floor of the Centre - the Pickwick Suite. This is also likely to be the venue for a number of Internet booths for free use by delegates.
If you are interested in receiving further information as a Publisher, Telecomms/Internet Service Developer or Manufacturer please contact the Globecom 96 Exhibition Secretariat for a copy of the Exhibition Prospectus available in March/April (tbc).
